Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer survival game set on islands where players inhabit dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. Flyers, swimmers, herbivores, carnivores, and semi-aquatic species occupy different ecological niches, and each creature’s abilities shape how it can survive. The central challenge is to grow while contending with rival players’ predation and hazardous environmental events.
Its three modes give that survival loop distinct rhythms. Free Roam begins with a juvenile creature and slower growth, while making resource management easier; accumulated growth earns talents that improve aspects of the creature’s capabilities. Life Cycle also starts players as juveniles, but accelerates growth and makes resources harder to manage. After reaching 1.32 growth, players may enter Gauntlet, where food, water, and ailments become more demanding. Life Cycle also features a monthly leaderboard for species growth rankings.
Combat shifts the focus from growing through survival to direct competition: players begin as adults, and killing opponents can earn additional talent points. Servers can use compact Deathmatch Maps with nearby spawn locations, while points and kill/death ratios track competition.
