Bad Rats: the Rats’ Revenge casts players as a team of specially trained rats bent on turning the tables on their cat captors. Its puzzles ask players to arrange functional objects and use simulated physics to bring about each cat’s demise. The premise pairs problem-solving with deliberately cartoonish violence and darkly comic payoffs.
The design is built around experimentation: a puzzle can be approached in different ways, with faster solutions and higher scores offering reasons to reconsider a completed map. Ten specialist rats and ten other functional objects provide the tools, while 44 maps range from easy to very hard. The game’s playful visual framing sits alongside a challenge aimed at creativity, intelligence and logic.
Internet and local records give players scorekeeping options, and Steam Achievements offer additional goals. Together, these features frame the game as a sequence of physics-based challenges where creative solutions, replay and comic outcomes are central.
