Audiosurf builds each ride around a song the player chooses, adapting the track’s shape, speed, and mood into a music-driven puzzle-racing experience. Rather than following a fixed course, players bring music from their own collections, making the selected song central to how each run feels.
On the highway, the core puzzle is to cluster blocks of the same color and earn points. Players can choose from fourteen characters to shape their strategy, while online scoreboards let them compare results for songs they play. The Steam edition also includes The Orange Box soundtrack, with “Still Alive” among the tracks available to surf, and supports Steam Achievements.
