ASTRA: Knights of Veda places its adventure on Planis, a continent nearing ruin under the tyrannical rule of Magnus, the Mad King. After a deathly tree spreads a curse that turns people into monsters, the goddess Veda chooses a champion to help restore the world. The story’s grim stakes are paired with detailed fantasy artwork and cutscenes that follow the journey.
Its combat draws on 2D side-scrolling action, asking players to use Knights of Veda’s abilities, dodge at the right moment, and unleash flurries of attacks. Exploration leads into distinct challenges: waves of undead and beasts in the Nightmare, or difficult bosses in Sealed Prisons. Victories offer rewards to strengthen the Knights, tying combat encounters to character progression.
The game also lists single-player, co-op and PvP, including online options, so its play format extends beyond the solo fantasy adventure.
