Arizona Sunshine® VR Remake revisits a post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon state where a faint human voice on the radio suggests survivors may still be out there. As a rebuilt version of the original game, it pairs that search with upgraded VR visuals, including high-resolution textures and more detailed environments. The premise keeps the focus on survival in blistering heat, with zombies closing in as the player follows the chance of finding other people.
Combat centers on physically wielding motion-controlled weapons, from shotguns to machetes, while scavenging scarce ammunition and consumables. The remake also introduces an upgraded mutilation and gore system, giving its zombie encounters a more visceral edge. Rather than treating the campaign as one uninterrupted stretch, it is divided into bite-sized VR sections that together form a complete narrative, making short sessions part of the design.
The edition brings together the original DLC and later updates, including Dead Man, The Damned, Old Mine, Trailer Park and Undead Valley. Cooperative play is another option: players can team up for the campaign, while Horde mode supports up to four people facing waves of undead. Together, the remade presentation, hands-on weapon combat and session-friendly campaign structure give this release a distinct identity as a refreshed take on a VR survival shooter. Individual content may differ from the original release.
