Aragami casts you as a vengeful spirit summoned by Yamiko, a girl held prisoner in Kyuryu. The occupied city is the setting for a dark story of blood and secrets, with Aragami’s effort to reach Yamiko tied to uncovering the truth about his existence. The conflict is framed as shadow against light: the Kaiho, an army of Light, stand between him and his objective.
Stealth is built into Aragami’s supernatural abilities. You can create shadows to become invisible, then teleport between patches of darkness while hunting targets. Shadow Powers also allow enemies to be dispatched in different ways. Each scenario offers multiple paths, and situations can be approached either as a merciless emissary of death or as an undetectable ghost. That combination makes route choice and the balance between evasion and confrontation central to the game’s design.
Aragami is listed with both single-player and co-op play, alongside online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer. Its identity rests on manipulating darkness, choosing how to handle each encounter, and pursuing a supernatural story shaped by twin souls and destiny.
