Among Us 3D: VR brings the familiar crew-versus-impostor setup into a fully three-dimensional party game. Crewmates work to finish tasks or eject the Impostor, while the opposing player sabotages, deceives, and tries to eliminate the crew. First-person controls give classic tasks a new presentation, and players must watch and listen for signs that someone is nearby.
The design mixes task work with conversation and suspicion. Emergency Meetings offer a chance to discuss what has happened, while proximity voice chat makes communication part of the shared space; Quick Text Chat provides another option. Roles can alter a match, and Tag Mode switches the conflict to Infected trying to catch Crewmates before they complete a set number of tasks. Custom lobbies let groups adjust gameplay, comfort, and moderation settings.
Native crossplay connects Among Us 3D players on PC, while the VR edition is not compatible with the original Among Us. The result is a distinct 3D take on teamwork, deception, and group play, with several ways to communicate and change the match format.
