Amanda the Adventurer 2 follows Riley Park after the mysterious tapes from their attic lead them to the Kensdale Public Library. There, a masked figure asks Riley to find something left behind by their late Aunt Kate and warns of a powerful entity drawn to the tapes. At the same time, Amanda knows Riley is present and is trying to escape, bringing the characters’ stories into a tense collision.
The game combines interactive cartoons with exploration beyond the screen. Players can talk directly to Amanda, and their input has a greater effect on her world than before. In a new interaction type, Amanda asks Riley to get up and find something in the environment; players can comply or refuse and see how she responds. That choice-oriented exchange makes the cartoons part of the adventure’s play rather than just a framing device.
The library replaces Aunt Kate’s setting with a larger area to explore for secrets and story details, while new friends join Riley and Amanda. The focus is on uncovering the history behind Amanda, Riley, Aunt Kate, and the show’s sinister production.
