Alquiem is a single-player RPG built around a blend of idle progression and active decisions. Its modernized turn-based battles handle attacks automatically, while players cast skills manually, making timing and strategy part of each dungeon run. The setting sends adventurers into six dungeons populated by more than 20 kinds of monsters, with elites and occasional mimics adding tougher encounters and the chance of exceptional loot.
Character building draws on more than 80 talents and combinable classes, with the Mercenary, Necromancer and Artisan available as starting spearheads; other classes are unlocked using Radiant Gems, which can be earned through play. Equipment gathered and forged from materials can be paired with class talents, while legendary weapons offer distinctive effects. Four professions, Mining, Lumberjacking, Herbalism and Fishing, support resource gathering and potion creation. Quests can progress during dungeon battles or in the background while the game is closed, a defining part of Alquiem’s idle design.
Beyond the dungeons, the randomly generated, infinite Pandemonium raid is a survival challenge featuring the game’s monsters and added difficulty from negative affixes, which rotate by season. Reaching maximum level opens a restart option that preserves City Project upgrades and Legacy Equipment, giving subsequent playthroughs a persistent progression layer.
