Alice’s World is a single-player adventure about a girl who wakes in a desolate place and hears a voice from beyond the screen. Rather than stepping into a separate character’s identity, you guide Alice directly: the game frames your choices as honest or deceitful, helpful or destructive, and says she will remember what you do. That direct relationship gives the story’s mysteries a personal edge.
Exploration takes Alice through barren landscapes, including distant towers, abandoned ruins, and encounters with unknown monsters. The player can help her evade danger and uncover the stories left amid the wreckage, while the stated goal is to find a way out. The premise leaves room for choices that do not simply advance toward escape, making the guide’s role part of the game’s distinctive design.
Puzzles and objects provide concrete ways to interact with this world: items found in a scene can trigger different effects, and combining props opens further possibilities. All characters are voiced, with Yoshino Aoyama voicing Alice.
