Alchemy Factory turns the fantasy of running a medieval alchemy business into a factory-planning simulation. Players begin with a small shop, make goods such as potions, jewelry, and relics, and sell them while fulfilling commissions. The central appeal is connecting production to commerce: what moves along the factory lines ultimately supplies the shelves and supports expansion.
Conveyor belts carry materials and finished products between devices, while pipes and magical equipment help form production chains for grinding, extracting, distilling, smelting, and processing. Factory layouts can extend across multiple levels, so players can organize connected work areas vertically as well as horizontally. Balancing inputs and outputs, adjusting production, and resolving bottlenecks give the automation a practical management focus rather than making factory construction purely decorative.
The game supports single-player as well as multiplayer and co-op, including online and LAN co-op. Research, land purchases, equipment improvements, and Workshop blueprints add further ways to develop and plan a sprawling alchemical operation.
