Aerial Destruction is an action-focused helicopter game set amid battles between military forces and armed groups of bio-engineered mutants. Its premise puts the player in the air above conflicts involving outposts, convoys and enemy bases, with missions built around direct battlefield support and destruction rather than a single repeated objective.
The game offers three helicopters, each described as having its own armaments, tactics and gameplay. Players can fly from cockpit or behind-the-helicopter views, and earn credits through missions to upgrade their aircraft. Objectives include holding military outposts, destroying enemy convoys, attacking enemy positions and supporting allied troops as they assault bases, giving the mission list several distinct combat roles.
Seven missions form the campaign, while fifteen achievements and Steam trading cards provide additional milestones.
