In Acid Flip, a leak from the computers of the Unison corporation turns digital data into acid, raising the dead in a videogame world. You face xombies amid the resulting chaos, with the story also raising questions about how the acid escaped and where your grav gun came from. Its comic, irreverent premise pairs apocalyptic trouble with the gleeful prospect of smashing enemies into the ground.
The grav gun is central to the action: use it to lift xombies into the air, then send them crashing down. It can also flip you onto buildings for a quick escape, giving the same tool an evasive use as well as an offensive one. Beyond fighting, the game offers distinct goals: collect antacids, pursue a high score by killing as many xombies as possible without dying, or travel through levels to discover what happened and who is behind it.
Acid Flip is listed as single-player, so its changing goals describe different ways to approach a solo game rather than separate multiplayer formats.
