Achilles: Survivor recasts Greek myth as a fast-paced, single-player bullet heaven. Achilles and other legendary souls freed from Tartarus face relentless enemy waves across realms inspired by Greek legend, including Troy and the coasts of Greece. Its top-down action roguelite format is built around repeated runs, with the threat escalating as players push farther.
The defining twist is that survival means more than attacking: players can place flame turrets, healing shrines, traps, and summoned allies, using structures as tactical tools for damage, crowd control, and recovery. Resources are limited, so choosing where and when to build matters. Powers can also be selected and transformed during a run, while heroes such as Achilles, Paris, Pythia, and Brontes bring distinct abilities and playstyles. The game describes each run as unpredictable, asking players to adapt to changing threats and builds.
Challenges award Favors and unlock permanent upgrades, making defeat part of longer-term progression rather than the end of advancement. Players can choose normal, short, or endless modes and set a difficulty for each run.
