Ace Attorney Investigations Collection brings together both Investigations games, placing players in the role of Miles Edgeworth, the prosecutor familiar from the mainline Ace Attorney series. Rather than centering its cases on courtroom proceedings, the collection sends Edgeworth to crime scenes, where he gathers evidence, examines clues and speaks with people connected to each mystery.
Progress depends on using those discoveries to solve cases through logic and deduction. The collection also offers different ways to approach its story and puzzles: Autoplay advances dialogue, while Story Mode handles puzzles for players who would rather focus on the mystery. Story Mode can be switched on or off at any time, and Chapter Select supports returning to chosen sections.
Its presentation pairs full HD versions and redesigned chibi characters with an option to use classic pixel art. A gallery adds illustrations, character animations, design sketches and music, including orchestral arrangements.
