Academy Love Saga: Tennis Angels pairs action-oriented tennis with a comic club story about a retired coach trying to regain his former glory. Cast as an unwanted coach seeking the approval and affection of his female club members, players guide the characters through matches and training. That combination gives the sports premise a character-focused, romantic storyline rather than presenting tennis as the only draw.
Matches hinge on positioning and resource management. A charged shot can put the ball where it is most useful, while moving to the net offers close-range pressure at the risk of an opponent’s lob. Stamina must be managed, and building enough Tension lets a character unleash a special skill. Leveling raises stats and unlocks skills, while equipment can be chosen to complement a character’s playstyle. The roster also matters: characters have different stat growths and skills, and the game directs players to unlock them in Campaign Mode and find a preferred fit.
Beyond campaign progression, individual Love Stories unlock as characters are trained and leveled. The trained roster can then enter the Global Underground Tournament against powerful tennis opponents.
