Abduction Bit turns an alien abduction story into a retro arcade challenge. Across four settings, two aliens set out to capture humans for experiments: a construction site, hotel, military base and laboratory. Its premise borrows the shape of an urban myth, but the playable objective is direct: clear each stage by rounding up its human targets.
The action draws inspiration from 1980s games such as Bubble Bobble and Mario Bros. You control an alien that jumps across platforms and fires a science-fiction gun to paralyse people temporarily. Capturing everyone without touching them is the stage goal, while dangerous traps make the simple controls harder to master. The game’s premise adds a darkly comic twist: the aliens erase their captives’ memories before sending them to a UFO.
Abduction Bit offers single-player play as well as local two-player co-op, with shared-screen and split-screen co-op listed among its supported categories. Level packs are selectable from the main menu, and the listed features also include alien palette customization, save states, achievements and retro-style sound and visuals.
