A kidnapping in Shibuya sets this adventure in motion, drawing five very different people into the same unfolding day: a detective, a journalist, a former gang leader, a pharmaceutical researcher and a worker in a cat costume. The game presents its Tokyo setting through still photographs and live-action footage, giving the story a cinematic, location-grounded look rather than a conventional animated cast.
Its central design is a set of five parallel stories whose fates can cross. A seemingly harmless decision for one character may cause trouble for another, so players follow narrative threads and use the JUMP system to move between scenarios. Progress depends on piecing together how these viewpoints connect, not simply advancing one character along a single path.
Wrong turns can also produce amusing outcomes, and the game offers more than 50 endings, along with bonus modes and extra scenarios.
