In 30XX, a hero awakens a thousand years after 20XX to find a transformed world shaped by the Synthetic Mind and a humanity that has lost its drive to reach the stars. The setting frames a run of fast action and exploration: players move through a lush, hostile environment and fight to save what remains. Its premise gives the platforming a larger purpose without turning the game into a conventional linear adventure.
The game pairs precise platforming and fluid movement with roguelike replayability. Levels, items, and powers change each time you play, while progression lets you adjust systems and difficulty as you go, including after a win. Ace and Nina bring distinct approaches: Ace favors swift, combo-friendly Techniques, while Nina uses a more intricate Power Fusion system. These contrasting character styles offer different ways to engage with the same cycle of rising, fighting, falling, and adapting.
30XX supports single-player as well as local and online multiplayer, including co-op with a friend. Its play-count context therefore spans solo runs and cooperative sessions, rather than describing only a fixed campaign. A level editor also lets players make individual chunks or complete custom campaigns, adding a creative dimension to the action-platforming foundation.
