Black Market of Bulletphilia ~ 100th Black Market. is a Touhou Project bullet-hell shooter and a postscript to Touhou Project 18. Marisa Kirisame investigates a mysterious black market where ability cards have appeared in large numbers, turning her search for answers into a hunt for cards as well. The premise pairs supernatural intrigue with the series’ brisk, screen-filling shooting action.
Cards are central to the play: equip abilities that alter how each run is approached, then take Marisa through stage-selection encounters. Compared with Touhou Kouryuudou, the game emphasizes stronger random elements and shorter individual sessions. Repeated runs let players collect more cards and experiment with the different strategies their equipment brings to bullet-dodging combat.
That loop gives the game a collection-driven spin on Touhou’s familiar danmaku battles. Rather than presenting a single extended journey, it invites players to return for quick bouts, build out a card collection, and investigate why the market has opened despite the earlier incident supposedly being resolved. The game was made to mark the hundredth Comic Market, adding a celebratory note to this compact, replay-focused side story.
