ウマ娘 プリティーダービー is a training simulation about horse girls who inherit the spirits and legacies of famous racehorses. As their trainer, you guide an individual trainee toward victory in her target races, shaping her development through regular training and communication. The central appeal is the partnership: each runner has a different personality and history, while her future results remain unwritten.
The game draws on real-world racing history for individual character stories, bringing that material into a fictional world where the girls run toward their own goals. Its cast includes more than sixty horse girls, among them Special Week, Silence Suzuka, Tokai Teio and Oguri Cap. Rather than treating racing as a standalone spectacle, the design links each competitor’s story to the trainer’s choices and the campaign for a dream stage.
Races are presented in high-quality 3D, with up to eighteen horse girls competing for first place and commentary intended to evoke the atmosphere of a live event. Victory leads into a winning live performance, where songs and staging put the successful runner in the spotlight. That shift from training and race strategy to musical celebration gives the game a distinctive rhythm, pairing a sports-focused progression loop with character performance.
