Fishing Planet brings the detail of recreational angling into a first-person fishing simulator. Its design centers on reading changing conditions and choosing how to fish: the game describes fish behavior that responds to seasons, climate, time of day, currents, water temperature and other environmental factors. It also offers freshwater and saltwater fishing, with float, spinning, bottom and trolling approaches.
The setting spans scenic waterways based on real locations, while dynamic weather and water conditions shape the atmosphere. Players can select among different tackle and lure combinations, and fish are designed to bite and fight according to species-specific behavior. Beyond the fishing itself, daily missions offer recurring challenges, and Angler’s House and its Trophy Room provide spaces to walk around and display catches and achievements. Online competitions add another route for testing personal scores against other anglers.
Fishing Planet supports solo play alongside multiplayer, cooperative and competitive online formats. Players can fish together aboard a boat, form Fishing Clubs, socialize through chat, or enter events and competitions.
